Katie's Prayer

Dear Lord,

Please take Luis into your arms with loving care. May you receive him as a gift

from us and welcome him with a heartwarming smile and a soft, comfortable touch. 

Please let us be strong as we hand him gently over to you.  May you help in guiding

him into your arms so he may look down upon us and smile with us during good times,

cry with us during sad times, and grieve with us during hard times. May he be blessed

with everything that he ever wanted and never received.  Please keep Luis safe, warm

and forever happy so that he may be unchanged when we can be with him again.

May you help to keep us fond of Luis and capable of moving on. May you bless this

day as a day of final peace, and not eternal sadness. In loving memory of “Lou”,
